DELHI POLICE CONSTABLE 2019
The Delhi Police Constable exam is conducted to recruit Police Constables in the Delhi Police Department. This exam is taken for the posts of Temporary Constables (Executives) - Male & Female in Delhi Police Department. Once you qualify, you are hired as a Constable in the Delhi Police Department. The Staff Selection Commission is the body which conducts the examination for this recruitment drive. After getting recruited as an SSC Delhi Police Constable, you will be getting a pay scale of PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200/- + Grade Pay Rs. 2000/- (Revised Pay Scale after 7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 03) with other allowances as admissible.This will increase along your career path at the Department.

The candidate should be 10+2 (Senior secondary) pass from a recognized Board/University.
Relaxable upto 11th pass only for Bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc. of Delhi Police and sons/daughters of Delhi Police Personnel & Multi Tasking Staff (formerly Class-IV employees) of Delhi Police only either in service, retired or deceased.

Assistant Sub Inspector (Stenographer): 18 Years to 25 years.
Constable Executive (Female): 18 Years to 25 years.
Sub Inspector (Executive) (Male): 20 Years to 25 years.
Women Sub Inspector (Executive): 20 Years to 25 years.
Head Constable (Store Clerk): 20 Years to 27 years.
Head Constable (Ministerial): 18 Years to 25 years.

Candidates should have valid email ID and mobile no.which should be kept active till the declaration of results. It will help him/her in getting call letter/advices etc. by email/SMS.
Submit the Application Form.
The payment can be made by using debit card/credit card/Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen. Transaction charges for online payment, if any, will be borne by the candidates.
On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form with fee details will be generated; which may be printed for record.

Delhi Police Constable Syllabus is given below :-
Reasoning : Questions will be asked from analogies, similarities and differences, spatial visualization, spatial orientation, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, coding and decoding, statement conclusion, syllogistic reasoning.
General Knowledge/Current Affairs : Questions are designed to test the ability of the candidate’s general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions are also designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighboring countries especially pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General policy and scientific research.
Numerical Ability : This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
